She become an extended-time resident of Salem, then Hanoverton, Ohio. The remaining four years she resided at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing in Dublin, Ohio.

Her beloved husband of 49 years, Wally (Wallace S.) Luce preceded her in dying.

Betty lived a full and rich existence. She turned into a powerful, determined, unbiased and loving woman. Betty became also a 50-year member of the Salem Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi international. Betty was an completed cook dinner and baker, sewer, knitter and quilter. Her recipes and handmade presents are treasured via many. She celebrated her eightieth birthday with a family cruise to Alaska. We understand that the sadness we now suppose as a result of her passing, will ultimately be lessened through the many striking reminiscences we’ve of our lives along with her.

She is survived by her daughter, Evey (Evelyn) Luce Muniz and husband, Rick, of Houston, Texas; son, Whit (William Luce) and spouse, Nancy, of Dublin, Ohio; sister, Eleanor Harmon of Willoughby, Ohio; grandsons, Kevin Luce and spouse, Jennifer, of Louisville, Kentucky and Brian Luce of Berea, Kentucky; first rate-grandsons, Charlie and Bennett, of Louisville, Kentucky and additional nieces, nephews and “bonus” family unit.
